I saw the notification on my iPhone from Net car show that the 2016 Audi Q7 was here! I'm very excited for this new generation. Honestly though, I think I like the old one better in every way except the interior.
My neighbor has a loaded 2014 in black. I like that much better. This one looks kind of frumpy, and too angular in my opinion.

Seems like it's going the way of the TT

Although a decent looking update, I still find the Q's boring as hell - without the V12 TDI at least

It looks good on the TT because it isn't as tall/boxy.

It looks like someone pissed off a particularly fat first generation Q7. I prefer the looks of the original.

It looks like a station wagon with more headroom.

Always like the Q7, and like Brian said it's following the TT's design language, now that I look at the old one it is very curvy and bulbous and kind of out of place in the recent design language. That being said Audi can do no wrong nowadays, everything they've put out looks fucking nice.

Just as I predicated it would look like....nothing to surprising. This is coming from a VAG fan.
My dad has a 2013 Q7 S-line with the 333HP Supercharged V6, it's a sexy beast (Optioned like the photo below). The brakes are huge! (6 piston, 350mm)
However I don't see him even looking twice at this new Q7 (The current one looks timeless, especially with the facelift LEDs), just like I didn't look twice at the new TT. (Long story short it's pricing is within Boxster/Cayman territory - I'll have a mid-engine rwd please even if it's optioned less) The only Audi cars I like at the moment are the A1, A7, A8, RS6 Avant.
I used to love Audi but now they are focused on selling bucketloads of cars, don't see much innovation. :(

Is it just me or does it look like they made the grill wider and lowered the car quite a bit....
I cant say I dislike it, but I don't like it as much as the older barge.

The only major improvement is the massive weight savings. Hopefully this doesn't mean they're going to ruin the Q5 as well
